A Family-Run Riding School Built on Passion and Ponies
At Santolina Stables, we believe every child should have the chance to experience the joy of ponies — whether it’s their very first ride or a stepping stone into lifelong equestrianism. Located in the heart of Wokingham, Berkshire, we’re a family-run riding school that’s been sharing our passion for ponies since 1990.
Founded by Debbie Parker, Santolina grew from humble beginnings — just one pony and a dream — into a fully licensed, 5-star rated riding school, proudly approved by the Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS).
Debbie started the school straight from leaving education, gaining her qualifications through the British Horse Society (BHS) and later becoming a Level 2 Riding Coach with First4Sport. She is Enhanced DBS checked, Child Protection & Safeguarding certified, First Aid trained, and serves as a trustee of the ABRS+. Her vision has always been to create a safe, welcoming space where children can not only ride, but build confidence, learn responsibility, and develop a love for animals that lasts a lifetime.
Our friendly team of BHS-qualified freelance instructors are all DBS-checked, First Aid trained, and experienced in coaching children in both riding and pony care.

Two floodlit all-weather riding arenas (20x40m)

18 stables, tack room, office, party barn, and toilets
